Clague Garden Estate

Clague Garden Estate was built in the 1980s. Out of its 4 blocks, one serves as the elder housing complex, “Chung Ming Sheh.” Some of the blocks use a split-level design where the stairwells are open, and where the atrium receives natural light and a light breeze. From afar, the large distinctive holes in the building can be seen, serving as the most recognisable part of their design, and allowing residents to admire the ocean view. The many small pools across the estate are both simple and traditional, serving as small oases in the bustling city.

The ‘Housing Re-public’ Project was initiated by Rico Diedering and Pedram Ghelichi. They will be walking through the estate with the visitors, sharing the vision behind the design. Come and enjoy the sea view together.
