Walking tour - Architecture of the Chinese University of Hong Kong
Share
For students at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the canteen and the student centre may simply be part of the campus. But did you know that the CUHK campus possesses over 20 buildings in the brutalist style? It is the only large-scale brutalist building group in the whole of Hong Kong, even the world. As the decades changed, many different styles of buildings came and went on campus, recording memories and histories. On this walking tour, a CUHK alumni and lecturer will lead visitors to view buildings from different eras on campus, including the building of the School of Architecture, to understand the developmental history of the university.
